Some former league members include:
Tony (Antonio) Briones is currently an active Umpire in the league. He is a member of the Mexican Professional Baseball Hall of Fame as of 2008. He played a majority of his career with the Juarez Indios (1973-1984). His final year was 1988 with the Leon Bravos. His accomplishments include being the all-time Mexican League stolen base leader through 2008.

Vinicio Cedeno is a former Umpire and current player in the league. Vinny pitched in the (then) California Angels minor league organization from 1982-1989, including the Texas League's Midland Angels from 1986-1989. He went 8-2 with a 4.14 ERA in 1989. His final year in affiliated ball was with the Vancouver Canadians (White Sox) of the Pacific Coast League in 1990, with an 0-1 record, but an ERA of 3.38.

El Paso College High School Seniors Open League
A short Summer season league which runs from June-August. The Diamondbacks reached the league semifinals last Summer, falling to the eventual champions, Slaves.
